I certainly don’t think it was our worst performance, I think Sunderland did their homework and obviously were reeling from their tonking last week. Defend to the hilt and not allow us to play to our strengths. Maybe Dowell could’ve provided some more flow . As much as I really want to be proved wrong,but I’m still not seeing much in Idah.I know it’s argued that he’s a back to goal hold up player but is he, really? His first touch is often heavy and he goes down more often than “your mum”.
Didn’t seem to be much of the Onel/Dimi double act going on which has been so effective.
It could’ve easily been a 0-0 without our stupid conceding and that would’ve been a fair result. Oh well.
On a plus side, thought the American announcer was a bit of fun,( for one match)and the weather was nice.
