PM OG (and other tonbridge area wrathers)

I went to tonbridge angels v ebbsfleet yesterday. Really good fun! I was a guest of a friend that was sponsoring the match, which meant getting to drink moretti from an actual glass from a veranda outside the sponsors lounge. Novelty stuff, albeit not actually the best view of the game!

Good attendance, (1,770), decent football, (mostly by ebbsfleet), and a good result (1-1).

In case you haven’t been following the league, ebbsfleet were on 84 points from 37 games going into yesterday, and had scored 87 goals with a GD of 50. To say they’re pissing the league is an understatement. Rumour has it they’re paying a few of their players in the region of £2k a week, compared with Tonbridge who’d be more like £400 a week max.

Tonbridge should have been dead and buried but bagged a very non league scrappy equaliser. Scott Wagstaff with the goal, he’s a very good player at that level. Josh wright with their goal. Two very scrappy goals from two players with a lot of football league experience.

Planning to take my kids down to the next home game on the 25th. Let me know nearer the time if you are popping in too 👍
