I thought I ought to have a read of the Match of the Day hashtag on Twitter before going to bed.
...Think I see why I was getting rounded on...
I've never voted for the Tories and never will.
I see how my detached opinion about football punditry in general and the whole sensational media circus that surrounds football has unfortunately and unintentionally sided me with some horrific c**ts out there and maybe people on here put two and two together and lumped me in with the t**ts.
I didn't mention Gary Lineker specifically and was not intending to cross some sort of picket line by giving an isolated opinion on a bare bones format that appeals to me for it's simplicity. I was avoiding the political reasons behind the change and not endorsing any government pressure or whatever.
I thought people knew me better than that, but seeing how heated it is out there I can understand how I ended up taking flak. I reacted strongly as it was not the position I was coming from, so I didn't understand why people were reacting the way they were and put it down to the same old Wrath politics at play.
I guess I'm just an ideot lost inside my own bubble. But all that s**te is precisely why I stay away from Twitter and all that on the whole. I can see now why Mikey thought _I_ was the troll.
Fuck me, the world is f**ked.
Right, it's GAME DAY, I'm moving on from all this and can get to bed and get eight hours in before kick off...
Nun-night you f**king pricks...x
