The fact he made a couple of tweets which some people might regard as questionable does is

Not evidence that he made this alleged comment and if it is taken as being so then the process is also questionable.

Given the socia media cancellation mob he probably had no choice but to apologise for those tweets but again they aren’t really racist in my view (assuming we are taking about the same tweets).

We seem to have moved to an age whereby any mention or recognition that someone is of a different race or nationality in a comment is seen as offensive. But that is not what racism is.
