The interesting thing is that most athletes who gamble are terrible....

at sports betting.

You would think having inside info would give you a big edge but often even elite athletes overvalue the minutia.

Pete Rose is banned from the baseball hall of fame for gambling on his own team he managed (and still managed to lose money doing it!)
