Everton Chairman John Moores was founder of the Littlewoods company, who made it's cash from pools (founded in 1923)

In the 1930s football tried arranging fixtures WITH ONLY 72 HRS NOTICE, specifically to try to strangle the pools (coupons couldn't be printed without knowing the fixtures)

Do we ban everything that might affect a few people negatively?
