not sure if it has a major impact on wildlife but.....

front gardens paved over in some cases have a major impact on local flooding , i don't have a front garden , but if i did and was having a parking space , i would have it so it allowed the water to drain away and not just into the street

will it add value to your house , unlikely , but it might do if yours is the only one in the street with off road parking
