Work rate and hides

Too many times he hides when the centre backs and McLean get the ball. He does not drop deep to look for the ball and create.
He is poor when we don’t have the ball. Defensively he doesn’t track back enough, can’t tackle and is physically is weak when challenging or is challenged for the ball-Bristol city’s goal a recent example.
Some nice touches but frequently takes the easy option and seems to lack bottle.
