Selling Madders - don’t think we were on verge of ruin but

It did allow us to buy quite a few of the players who helped us gain promotion the following season. Including Emi Buendia.

Had to sell him cos his value wouldn’t increase with us in the championship for another season, whether we won it or not. Also would have felt worse selling him when promoted too! See Emi.

Yeah had to be done.

I think Emi had to be done too as the player wanted to go and we had a good offer - don’t think anybody will pay that for him now. Problem with that was more what we wasted the money on.
