We have a squad full of decent championship players. There is not one player that is outstanding. Maybe Aarons, but he’s hardly showing it.

This is why we’re stuck around 10th. This is what a squad of decent championship players will get you.

And I honestly don’t see how we rebuild from here, without pulling out a repeat of the miracle Emi/Pukki signings or i) getting given 100m to spend and ii) the recruitment team not spunking it all away on another set of decent championship players. The current crop, minus the sale/departure of a few, are not suddenly going to turn into top 6 material. Are they?
