When Cameron offered up the referendum to keep the Tories in power.I don’t think he even

Expected the polarisation that resulted from the outcome. Let’s face it, things were pretty stable before then and the result was actually fairly close 52/48. But they way it’s thought of is as if it was 80/20. No one’s come out of it better off. (Although I am aware that our vaccination program roll out was possibly quicker because of it but I doubt it.)
Even Cameron was shocked enough to hide in his shed for the next year or so.
