we have a weekly CEO Teams call. Once you're past the first 5mins of random chit chat, you can happily just have it sat on speakerphone whilst you do something else. I've taken the dog out before during those.

I expect this was something similar - probably lots of dull mandatory training calls to sit through too. My dog likes those too.

If it's a scheduled weekly/monthly call, it's almost certainly a regular weekly dog walk she does post school drop off, and so (with the DOOOOOOM hat on) just the sort of thing a ne'er-do-well would take note of. Hopefully they have CCTV going back a few weeks/months to rule that out.
