And it pains me to be one of the ones digging out Tim.

Worth saying that yesdee’s first goal is part of a theme that’s been growing for years. The capacity to give away goals so easily from s**t passing. That stat Sky flashed up yesdee. Was it 18 howlers for us, next worst on 8? Can’t remember. Something like that. It’s that we need to sort, as it’s impossible to succeed otherwise. And while Tim is on the hook for some of that, it’s certainly far from all down to him.

(The uncomfortable truth may simply be that you can’t play the kind of football we aspire to with the quality of player we can now afford…)
