I think they’d have said if they had a decent lead

From what they are saying it seems an extremely remote possibility a perp could have been there during the small window where her movements were unknown and no surveillance or witnesses saw anyone when there seems to be only a small area not covered by CCTV.

My dad is convinced the boyfriend did it and doesn’t seem deterred even when being wrong about the dog never being off a harness (it was actually seen off it), bodies can’t go far with clothes weighing them down (er yes they can) and people scream if drowning (often drowning is a silent killer).
