If football goes tits up because some US investors have gotten burned (not seeing the link tbh) it’s because everything else has already gone tits up.

Eg My company is PE backed and we’ll be undershooting our value because of the energy market and the economy.

As soon as the economy improves we’ll be back in good health. Same for these PE (&pension) funds in the article.

It’s not quite a ‘nothing to see here’ article but it’s very much a ‘no s**t, investments go down as well as up’ one. As long as the pension funds have a properly balanced exposure it’s just all part of how these things work. 🤷‍♂️
