Like everything these days, it’s exaggerated.

Not celebrating should be reserved for situations of deep respect, not every ex employer.

For example, I fully appreciate and applaud not celebrating in situations such as, say, if Lampard scores against Chelsea when he was at Man City. Or even somebody like Onel if he moves and scores against us.

But when it’s something like Hanley not celebrating against Blackburn or CamJam against us then it’s ridiculous.

It shouldn’t be seen as bad form to celebrate. Rather, refraining from celebration should be seen as a mark of particular respect.

In my opinion anyway.
