I think you’ve misunderstood

I didn’t say our fans were supportive or tolerant. My point is one of relativity. Todd will not get as many chances elsewhere as he has here, and nor will he have any goodwill in the bank with fans at a new club compared to here. He’s been garbage for ages, and yet there’s still fans here that think he could be brilliant and want him in the team.

If he goes elsewhere and he’s garbage, he’ll be on the scrap heap.
