I look at the other three as brain farts by the club. I don’t begrudge someone failing in a position they’re not qualified for.

Smith has no such excuses. I don’t think he ever wanted to really be here, and certainly not after it was apparent he couldn’t save us from relegation.

He never bought into Norwich as a long term project. We were just a rebound job. He was dialling it in.
