his recent trajectory has been more reminiscent of our wilderness years starlets (Jarvis / Crow / Dalglish... and on and on)

have some good games, people feel enthusiastic and then it all fizzles out a bit...

which is a shame, cos in his first two seasons he really looked like he would be a worldbeater. Hope he gets back on track and we have a nice sell-on.
