an experienced backbone with a few young players bringing some speed and some 'je ne sais quoi'. 12 of the team played in portugal, 6 at france 98. That looks like a good ratio to me. And Domenech has picked 'in-form' players (with the exeption of boumsong) and good 'all rounders' instead of speciality players who are world class but not on top of their game.
I reckon they'll do ok. The whole contest is a lottery anyway - four of five teams have a chance of winning and it just depends when they meet each other in the tournament. Knowing our luck we'll meet the argies in the quarter finals.
