I've trawled back. At the time Wagner was first suggested, I said that 'the optics aren't good' and 'it looks lazy'.

The perception will always be that it's an easy appointment for Webber to make and it's a risk for him.

But I'm happy with the appointment and have made that clear repeatedly.
