Tbh, I think it's the best option given we're highly unlikely to get rid of Webber, so in order to get the best working relationship out of Webber, hire someone that knows what he's like and how to deal with him successfully. If he feels loved and valued then he starts focusing on the job more than the mountains. Says a lot that Wagner is willing to come back to work with him too, given how many backroom staff of our successful period have moved on, leaving the impression that they'd had enough of him/were jumping a sinking ship. It's not ALL about Webber, I know, but it IS in his head and it's him you have to work alongside/under.
