I can see why some people have taken the interview a particular way but I felt he was kinda holding his hands up to accept that the relationship between head coach and the fans is more important than he had appreciated and perhaps an element of regret.

Interesting that he claims 2 names on their short list are not in the headlines, which would allow us to rule out a lot of people.
