I disagree

It is a bit disjointed - we’ve the long-standing favourites who are ‘slowing’, and we’ve the new signings who haven’t gelled but there is definitely some talent in place.
Yes a few square pegs but if a manager can’t make decent players - and I think most are - play to their best, then they’re not a manager are they?
And of course some won’t do it - I think we know where the misfits are and some were definitely the 2021 signings, but to suggest that the squad is hopeless is a little foolish. The concern for me is probably more about belief - there has to be a reason why a young player like Aarons has slipped so much and there’s absolutely no reason why his fitness levels couldn’t match where he’s previously been. We have looked less fit than others, very clearly against Luton, but I don’t think that’s an innate issue but a training issue.
Anyhoo we’ll find out in due course.
