media people are given lots of info ,that they can't use

until given the nod or before its officially released , so it could be that Neil ashton was given the heads up last night but told there was a embargo on the news (something as a journalist he would have respected ) until sometime today to give the club time to tell Dean Smith news and for him to tell his family and his support staff to tell their families
