I meet a Newcastle fan in the summer who was SO excited we were getting Hayden.

He described him as a real gem. He started off fine after his injury but now seems to have deteriorated. Núñez is another one who seemed to show potential but is now not even playing.

The players we kept (who despite not being Buendia or Skipp, still played a key role in that team) are either not picked or no longer seem to be able to pass it to each other, press the ball or make attacks. We know they used to be able to do that!

And Teemu seems to get so much stick for ‘not being the player he was’ when I think he’s doing his best in impossible circumstances.

If it was just one or two players performing badly, I might have some sympathy but when it seems to be the whole
team performing badly, I’m saying the coach has something to do with it.
