Certainly a huge factor

but I do keep thinking that no team in the Champ currently has the quality those two had - and loads of them still play better football than us. And our squad cost loads more than almost all of them.

If this is as good as these players can be, and Smith is doing as well as he can, that really doesn't say much for the recruitment.
