the lack of Dowell and the deterioration of Nunez

are the big warning flags for me.

We have players who have been successful at this level and create and they're not making the side, or have seen their form drop off a cliff, or both.

Cantwell, if re-engaged would be a massive plus, but it still feels like that's stuff away from whatever other issues there are in the club.
