I remember bad vibes in the crowd and 'you don't know what you're doing' chants on more than one occasion, though I think you're right in so much as it was still a noisy, but maybe significant minority.
Daniel had enough goodwill in the bank for the majority (myself included), but there was a definite fracture forming.
I suspect if we'd stuck with Daniel it would have only got worse, because I don't think he'd have done any better with that squad than Dean did. Though I do believe Daniel would be doing better with what we have right now in this league.
