Would be a mistake. I live on the edges of W Mids and know loads of Villa fans

1) The majority thought DS was a better manager.

2) They liked Gerrard initially as he was a 'name', but soon became disillusioned with results and tactics.

3) He had his favourites. Played Coutinho ahead of Emi. Need to remember it was DS who bought Emi for Villa.

4) Strong suggestion that when Gerrard was successful at Rangers it was down to Beale rather than SG.

Would like to think if other West Mids Wrathers have heard the same but I wouldn't go remotely near.
