I know I was thinking similar.

He implied that expectations are too high by comparing them to the expectations of other Championship clubs; I'm sure if other clubs had had two seasons in the Prem and two seasons as Champions of the Championship they would also have higher expectations that other teams in the league.

He did mention 'why' we have those expectations but almost brushed it off as it that didn't matter. Of course it does.
