I 'enjoyed' the France match a lot

The others less so. But it was nice to feel passionate about an international again. And there have been some good non England games. But slightly hard to rid myself of the 'Why Qatar, why now?' feeling, and the general stench of FIFA corruption, plus my continuing annoyance/suspicion about some of the more eccentric refereeing decisions. Having said all of which, what would we (and many others) give to run a tournament so peacefully...? Not quite Wembley at the Euros, or Paris etc
