One thing I think Southgate is v good at

Is speaking for the team, and I suspect, preparing them mentally. I think he 'holds' them well - I wonder whether that's part of why he does well at tournaments. Reminds me of the sort of thing mike brearley coukd do - enabling others to play well. Farke had it too. Others.... less so.
