And frankly, if he didn't pay for it that makes the whole thing even less impressive as a protest.

Amusing and subversive act with a free issue 500k watch? I think that's basically called advertising. Opportunistic advertising of products for the super wealthy. Which makes it even less impressive still. In fact, in my book that would make it an utterly tasteless thing for Kane to have done. Though I'd dearly hope you are wrong.
Why would you even come up with that theory? It's ghastly.
