is that they are well intentioned, but ultimately are more concerned with being morally right than they are with being effective.
Provocative actions like taking the knee, or wearing the rainbow armband, are great ideas in theory, imo. But recent history has shown that such actions tend to entrench views on either side, rather than encourage genuine debate and reform.
In which case, what are they actually achieving?
