Just back from the match

The Carrow audience is less respectful than it was. Suspect a lot of Farkeball fans were not really ready for the gearshift to Deano.

The bold rebuilding of the squad and total inability to replace Skippy and Emi was striking and engaging, but also fatiguing, occasionally obscuring and made the whole thing a very different beast.

Teemu was the standout in the cast. Todd did well, but was hampered by his hair being reset as a young woman, which threw him off the balance. Onel was a twitchy, but still funny mash-up of a winger and a striker. Stripped of the chance to play through Emi, the players struggled to make the match relatable, or likeable, or understandable. Stuart Webber's Rasputin impersonation was a seriously unlikeable whiney arsehole.

When every pass is delivered with a profound pause it lessens the impact given by contrast.

Getting every striker onto the pitch and devoid of context rendered the 0-0 ending incomprehensible.

It was a pleasant evening, and the other half hasn't been put off watching more City. It was interesting and intermittently good, but hopefully the next match will play the squad to its strengths.

It's still a better watch than Piswich. Hopefully someone will put some serious money into the squad soon too... Had enough of seeing £3m bargains, time for the big bucks from the Yanks.

To bring it back to the never ending debate, the board has tried something different and it didn't work so well, time for a change of owner I think. Has she gone yet?
