And we sacked the manager because we were performing dreadfully in the prem again and we wanted to give ourselves a better chance of staying up.

He’s not coming back and I’m not convinced he’d have wanted to stay for a 3rd shot at promotion anyway. Too much expectation we should be able to replicate the last promotion with a worse squad, losing key players and others being off their peak.

Always going to be peaks and troughs in football but Norwich fans have been utterly spoilt.
