we were denied a place in Europe on 3 occasions because of the actions of Liverpool fans. Who were commonly described, prior to Heysel, as "the best fans in England". Which makes it galling that an exception is being made for them now, and equally galling to hear ITV describe them as "the best fans in Europe".
