Not a fan of what I’ve seen so far, but it’s all a bit complicated.

So I did have low expectations going in to this season. I thought the yo-yo years were done. In that sense, what we’re getting isn’t that far off what I expected.

BUT, the football is really terrible. We’re actually getting more point than I think the performances deserve, probably. So that’s odd. And I didn’t expect us to be this patternless. In that sense, it’s been really poor.

AND I hadn’t factored in how genuinely terrible so much of the division is. I think would now be a really bad failure to not make the playoffs. I think it would be a very good success to make the top 2.

It seems clear however that the club are backing Smith, and we have just won (although I didn’t watch/follow the game today). So while I have reservations about a lot of things, at this stage, I’m just looking at next three games and thinking “9 points, and then we have a good chunk of time to hopefully, finally sort out all the problems there seem to be in the team.”

Let’s just win the next three games, by hook or by crook.
