FAO Malkybarkid, re shc earlier

I work with a fire investigator who actually examined the scene where the second picture was taken... (I've seen what's left of the old giffer in glorious technicolour from several different angles!) He said that it wasn't spontaneous combustion, that he doesn't believe such a phenomena exists; trouble is his actual explanation for what happened got so complicated that I switched off halfway through!!!
