Such is the nature of this kind of death spiral. Stop serving up boring and ineffective football. Send out a team that looks like it has an identity and knows what the f**k it’s supposed to be doing. Everyone can see that all this talk is just talk, and after one year there is no evidence of anything coherent developing. We ARE going backwards.

As for Stuart unfairly coming under pressure last season. Sheesh, don’t get me started. When you take consistently bad decisions over a long period of time, this is what happens, especially when you tell fans you wanted out, only stayed as a favour on the proviso you can sack off up mountains when you want, and clearly are hawking yourself around for another job rather than, it appears to me, focusing on this one.

Does nobody inside the club bubble have a f**king clue how this looks to we fans on the outside?
