For someone who doesn't like or use social media....

He sure has no problem using it in controlled videos and interviews.
IMHO there is zero chance he doesn't know how the fans feel.
Anybody who runs any kind of business and totally ignores the customers is doomed to failure.
The customer isn't always right but if enough say the same things, then there may be something in it.
