was that Farke's style relied on us playing brilliantly to have any chance of a result. Even an average performance would end in defeat / a draw. The Leeds game, I recall being worried by - we seemed so ineffective compared to them.
At that time, I couldn't see a route forward having sold Maddison and before Buendia revealed himself. Can't say I recall feeling hacked off in the way I do now though, but I think expectations play a major role in that. I didn't want Farke sacked, if I remember right, but I did think the style of play needed a bit of added pragmatism. Maybe I'm misremembering how I felt, someone will probably pantsbot it now and find evidence of me trying to organise an anti-Farke rally or something.
