I think this will go the way of Nigel Worthington

seem to remember him being on the brink and then pulling a win out of the bag to save his job several times. Then losing the next one or two, and on it went for months.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see us beat Stoke (two home defeats to Coventry and Rotherham without scoring), but then lose to QPR and draw or lose at Rotherham. But then beat Boro. Etcetc...
