After the Hull match away I said Smith didn’t have a clear system or team principles

Some people defended smith saying he does.

I think the last 7-8 matches culminating in last night shows he doesn’t. There is no clear principles at all. If he has a system that he believes in, he should not be playing players out of position when there are injuries. He should have a reserve or even two who have trained to that position and an academy player below that also knows the role of their position. You cannot move people around out of position and expect success. The principles and “Norwich Way” should be being coached throughout the club.

There is no consistency in how we press. He should at least have three presses that we can be in rather than just the random charging around we seem to do.

There is not clear evidence that we know how to break down an opposition without a hoof over the top. The players have lost all faith in the style of play and confidence in themselves which is evident in that we’ve resorted to hoof for successful outletting as they don’t trust themselves passing out.
