Knowing how cheery he was, there's quite some irony in him picking that tune. I wonder, given he couldn't've been feeling too brilliant, how much he was tempted to play Cardiac Arrest instead, but maybe it also took him by surprise too.
I've read through the tributes and can include myself amongst those lucky to have joined him in pre & post-match drinks in Squares and on the Wrath minibus for away games. I know there's some photos kicking about with him in the line-up somewhere amongst my collection. As I've said, you'd struggle to find a cheerier bloke, which is remarkable given those away days included Worthy's no-wins Prem season.
Nice to see soe old faces show up here today to pay their respects, love to you all...x
