Where someone like dowell stepped in to a side otherwise brimming with confidence, to the situation we have now where the players seem devoid of confidence.

Cantwell is a good example, he looks completely and utterly lost.

Since 2003, we’ve had Huckerby, Hoolahan, Maddison or Buendia. We don’t have someone like that in our squad now; someone that, in the championship, can consistently demonstrate the quality needed to turn a match on its head.
