Craig Shakespeare

I wonder if the problem is Shakespeare, given a lot of our players seemingly have gone backwards. A lot of that is down to coaching and training, no?

He’s always seemed a bit of a dinosaur to me and I know we shouldn’t judge people by appearances but I do wonder if having an obese, old guy wandering around the training ground giving instructions between laughing and joking about really commands respect from players.

From the videos that get/got posted, the training regime under Farke’s coaches seemed a lot more serious and disciplined although I accept this is purely based on snippets issued by the NCFC media team.
