I'll gloss over the 5 hour nightmare journey there and the almost 5 hours (worse) journey home but there's not a lot left!
To quote one Canary Caller "lights, cameras, no action"
Now I've had the misfortune to witness 98 minutes "on the grass" I'm even more despondent than before. This really did feel like a nadir.
Laboured, ponderous and without any noticeable form or content. Words fail me. There's been some dross served up at times and this is up there with the worst.
How Smith can come out and say he couldn't fault the workmate and blame the officials is beyond belief.
Some of the best, most technically adept players that have shone in previous years are mere husks of themselves. The like of Nùñez, who looked a world beater a few weeks back has been turned into a broken egg beater.
I would say that the light show was the highlight, but that wasn't that impressive either.
I'm tired and annoyed but I'm losing any sense of caring and feel virtually nothing about the group of players. I was hoping Pukki would get 100 goals but no chance, he may as well get a move rather than waste the rest if his talent here. I know we missed a couple, but he's feeding off the most meagre scraps.
I'm not looking forward to QPR, which will be my next sojourn to CR.
