What's happened to Max?

He looks a shadow of the player he was.
Now he get petulant and throws a strop if things go wrong.
Had another mare against a good player. Was switched sides to protect him.
But did I really notice that in the second half, when he had loads of room our on the left, our own players wouldn't give him the ball but preferred to check back to a crowded area rather than give him the ball?
